"Let's get the good part out of the way. It has a very nice wooded setting. That was the best part. It was close to Ravinia, and we're going to the fest and stay over for our 9th anniversary. The room we stayed in could of used a face lift. The old part of the manor is very stately and if you stayed should request one of the "manor rooms" as opposed to the annexed part of the hotel that we stayed in. We stayed one night, we didn't have a privacy sign. Before nine o'clock in the morning housekeeping was knocking asking if we needed service. Since we were awaken by her we went to breakfast, came back and climbed into bed to work off breakfast...only have the knock on the door again....housekeeping. Again, we were checking out in 2 hours!!! The guy behind the desk said he was sorry, but didn't offer anything. For $175 they won't see us again."
